BIO

Tamar is a 24-year old Black woman trying to figure out her next steps amidst this pandemic. She is currently a copyeditor for a community outreach program and engages in charity work. Her undergraduate degree is in social work, and she recently completed her Master’s of Social Work in the New England area. She is passionate about social justice, particularly issues surrounding Black women and their wellbeing. She prefers 90’s hip-hop and R&B over the music that is considered popular today.

The Last Pick in Gym Class
