Dr. Usha Ramanathan studied at Bharathidasan University receiving both her Master of Philosophy and Master of Philosophy in Commerce, as well as Mother Teresa University, where she earned a Doctorate in Finance.  With the degrees she has accumulated, Dr, Ramanathan went on to teach for many decades, publishing debates on international finance, as well as playing a primary role in the creation of school curriculum.  She currently resides at Taylor’s Business School where she splits her time as a full time professor and an approved Research supervisor for numerous Indian universities.   At the moment her research interests include Finance, Banking, and Social Rights.  She is also a legal scholar.
